Very true but I think Cud's music touched a lot of people during their adolescence so it was easy for us to always back him even during his trash period

Cudi has always been a progressive artist, from AKNC-MOTM-MOTM2 theres a bunch of varying sounds and although aknc and motm share some songs the projects sound really different.

Same for MOTMII - WZRD - Indicud - Sattelite Flight - SB2H - PPDS. But for a while there it seemed like he was more interested in finding new sounds than really crafting those sounds and making them worth a listen. Either way Cudi always been one of my favorite rappers and probably always will be, theres nobody quite like cudi.

Indicud, SF and PPDS are all great. SBTH has some gems. i don’t like WZRD but that’s not even a main solo project

i was with him during those times but now that he's trying his best again it's just not the same anymore. i think i'm just past it

Yeah cudi did the 180 himself.
What made me disappointed was after motm 2 is that he didnt stick with the original plan and decided to give us wzrd, but all those interviews and he even included in the motm cd book that it was a three part series. Then he dropped indicud and satellite which i f***ed with but production wise was not on motm 1 and 2 level. So it didn't seem like progress. Then he gave us sb2h and my opinion will never change on that one. Lol i was the biggest fan at one point but ill always be checking his s*** out regardless

Mid started after motm 2. I guess its hard after you drop two classics and he just lost momentum

Trash is subjective, you do realize making music out of the pop bubble does not make it "Trash" right
