It’s well liked enough by the melodic/r&b-preferring Future fans like myself, though not as good as his later stuff in this vein. It also doesn’t have the same level of grimeyness/nocturnal sound as his later output in either his rap or r&b music tho, which is partly what set him apart. Those who got into future because of this sound probably don’t get as much out of the rap cuts or the singing cuts as monster and after.

I’d listen to HNDRXX any day of the week over this. There’s still a lot of great cuts on here tho. I don’t think he’s ever made a song quite like Benz Friends.

S*** was fire when it dropped it just was quickly forgotten when Future hit another gear and dropped Monster Beast Mode 56 Nights DS2 and WATTBA back to back pretty much right after it
