My theory on Future linking back with Drake is because everything he's dropped since 2018 hasn't stood out. His last hit was Mask Off in 2017. He's dropped the Superfly soundtrack album, Save Me, Beast Mode 2, Wrld on D**** and the Wizrd and nothing off all those projects stood out. All those projects were forgettable and he didn't get any hits off them.
He had a crazy run from 2014-2017 and since then, people spend more time talking about his baby mama issues and his personal life than his actual music.
The last song him and Drake did together was Used to This, which dropped in late 2016. Future knows how consistent of a hit-maker is and after seeing Drake's run in 2018 and even 2019, I'm not surprised he hit him for the stimulus package. Look how well it helped Meek and Chris Brown.
That's all I think this is. Drake giving out another assist. I can't think of anytime in the last few years that they would have had the time to make a full project together.

WIZRD is one of his best albums
wym lead artist
isn't it listed as Future & Drake?
That's how it is in the video, but we don't know if it'll be like that in the single.
No video title card will list a song as Artist A featuring Artist B. It'll always be Artist A + Artist B.
Also, if it was off a collab project, I'm guessing it would have been Drake + Future, since that's how WATTBA was titled in the artist category. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Those are my guesses, though.
Put this on my life it’s gonna sound like the last one
WIZRD is one of his best albums
But it didn't stand out. People moved on from it after a week. It didn't have a massive impact on culture the way his projects from 2014-2017 did and it didn't give him any hits.
Future's biggest project is still WATTBA with Drake. His second biggest hit is Jumpman with Drake.
I'm not surprised he's going back to him for the assist after trying for two years to score a hit and failing.
@LD Another way we'll know if the Future/Drake song is off a collab project will be in the copyright. If it's copyrighted to OVO/Epic or Universal/Epic or Republic/Epic then we know it's from a forthcoming collab project. But if it's only copyrighted to Epic and Future is the lead artist, then it's for his own project.

guess we'll see
Future always drops January so a drop for the album next week makes sense
Or he could drag this single out, which seems very unFuture-like
