The time / energy it takes to take care of a baby that detracts from ur ability to work makes 450 a month a huge slap in the face tbh

Tbh you should care more about your kids than anyone else in the world. That's at least what I was taught growing up.

It was a terrible post in every sense. Having 2 loving parents that both care for and love their kids would make this world a lot better place. Single parent kids continues the cycle of crime/poverty. You basically saying it's okay to be a deadbeat parent which is ridiculous

It’s more along the lines with why do we have this idea that we need a father, that we need his money, that he needs to be there.... like f*** that s***. My mom was strong and didn’t need him or his money y’know... plus I grew up with a lot of kids from broken homes, they all turned out great and yeah they take care of their kids and have great relationships with significant others... but none of us and our mothers were never like “we need a father, we need more money etc etc”

I’m from a single parent household and a lot of my friends are as well... a lot of them are in the financial industry and have wives and kids

If you have a strong enough single parent, you can turn out okay...

It's about not being a deadbeat parent and being there for your kid. Just because it worked out for you doesn't mean it should be okay

??? If she worked, she would need daycare and the kid needs food and housing. Why should the woman only be responsible for that if she has primary custody
