Small Pond TheoryMan. This may be the most disappointing Future album I’ve ever heard...
I usually am prone to comparing a new Future album to Beast Mode, Monster, DS2, hoping it will compare to the sheer greatness of these albums.
Typically lately, the quality will fall short, but still hit in the same vein of a record like FUTURE, The Wizrd, High Off Life, which are all still absolutely quality albums.
I don’t want to hate. This man is the most consistent rap artist with how often he drops and how quality those drops always are. The same guy who clearly cares about his artistry with albums like HNDRXX, Save Me..
But this decline the past couple of years, starting with the mid ass We Still Don’t Trust You, to Mixtape Future being a genuine disappointment, and now this being the follow up and seemingly feeling even emptier, it just makes me sad.
