Pluto is a super fun time capsule of very early 2010s Atlanta rap: 8/10
Honest is a bit rough around the edges but has some career highlights (I think Benz Friends may be the most underrated song in his entire catalog): 6/10
DS2 - certified classic, enough said: 10/10
EVOL, out of any of his studio albums, feels the most like a mixtape, not a great project but not bad by any means either: 7/10
FUTURE has grown on me a ton over the years, I think it's a big step-up from EVOL and serves as a great companion piece to the masterpiece he would end up dropping a week later: 8/10
Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd: This is another Future album that has grown on me immensely over the years. I really like how grimey yet mature it sounds, while also feeling like it caps off a trilogy started by FUTURE/HNDRXX. The beat-switches on here are the best on any project in his catalog, and I like the callbacks to his earlier work a lot. The intro/outro on here are incredible, and my other favorites are Temptation, Crushed UP, F&N, Promise U That, and Baptiize. 8/10

yāall will say this but then praise old metro who by all counts very much did a lot of āoverproductionā on his tracks as far as sequencing and additional production elements
the distinction between his old and new sound isnāt lost on me, but the articulation of what that is oftentimes is very wrongly stated

Iām gonna do a relisten of all future albums before Friday so will give my thoughts on these albums later again.
Iām a huge future fan but had absolutely zero desire to replay these when they dropped, from what I remember Future was very low energy on them and the beats were pretty mellow and not anything special
