In reality this is a great reflection of Uzi and Future in 2020. Neither is in their peak anymore, both are in a transitionary phases between projects in their career that had mixed reception. Both work well together, the standout songs are really solid but ultimately the length is the killer here. Could have been cut to 8-10 tracks and been much more palatable. The Deluxe is inevitable, I'm praying they pick the better WoD produced tracks they were flexing the last couple months (Brandon Finessin needs to be jailed, bro makes the same f***ing trash beats 7/10 times).
To me, collab projects should either be 2 artist with an undeniable chemistry and the appeal is the artists bouncing back and forth off eachother making songs that are great because the combination is better than the sum of eithers abilities or two artists that contrast eachother so well that they make something neither could make separately and challenege eachother to try new things and make something unique. This project falls way more into category one, but ultimately, even though they do have good chemistry, so many songs fall into the trap of one or the other repeating eachother or using the exact same flows/melodies. Unfortunately, two of the standout tracks are the solo tracks on here.
This was completely predicable by the singles for this, but was hoping for more. I think both need to go back to the drawing board and get reinspired. Fewtch shined way more because he played more to his strengths but Uzi, unfortunately, is straying away from his catchy melodies and spit fire flows that made him popular, and showing he really is limited when it comes to more conventional rapping (although he has improved a lot in that lane over the years).
I'm glad it happened, I wish it happened in 2016-17 when both were really making incredible music solo and together, but def couldnt live up to expectations either has set separately. Excited for more music in the Future for both, I don't see this being the beginning of the fall for either, but may be a forgettable step in both careers.
most of this is cap because EA is Uzi's best received project ever and Brandon Finessin made one of the best beats oty with Celebration Station
I like this tape and the chemistry a lot actually, something about the songs makes me think that they’re talking about their life/what they have in common and that almost makes a theme
F*** this guy lol
Went into this with no real expectations but liked it, production is really solid throughout IMO and Future + Uzi have good chemistry
Didn't watch the review
I meant f*** him as a reviewer in general
oh yeah, nigga lowkey feeding off fantano agenda

Wow! Maybe critically but fan reception was extremely mixed (nobody I know irl that listens to Uzi listens to EA anymore and barely listen to deluxe). Celebration Station beat is one of his better beats but it ain’t even that good, it’s super regular
I liked uzi more when he was melodic but I really liked lullaby it’s his first rap song that actually had meaning like his old stuff
now imagine a future uzi tape with production by wheezy, pierre, southside, metro, atljacob, and wondagurl
Will listen tomorrow, I'm añways scared when I see a long trap album. What are they gonna rap about for 16 songs?
Anyway, hope this won't suck.

Nah we just want Wheezy and Pierre
