This show had a few good seasons, was p entertaining. The Carver and when Christian did some nip-tuckin' to give that African girl a c***

First season was pretty solid. Provocative jokes, surgery storylines were absorbing and the dysfunctional people here are mostly well-written.
Sean's wife is pretty but is such a f***ing Karen, even if Sean was contemporary an a\*\*\*\*\*\* to his wife and a gentleman to his fiancee during this season.
Sean son actor looks older than an adolescent lmao but I liked his character too and he do lotta of bullshit that I could have done years ago.
Christian is definitely the archetype of KTT2 relationship section user on the surface but the more his background is exposed the more I like him, kinda like a 00s Don Draper. My preferite so far.
I don't know how well their plan on the season finale could work in the future but let's start season two and discover it.

If you want to talk about later seasons please remember to use the spoiler embedding.

I always caught episodes through the airing of this show but never fully watched it. I always heard it was a pretty consistent show.

I just remember something about a fat chick who wore a bag over her head or something because she was ugly...

Loved the show, fell off a f***ing cliff the last 2 seasons and the last season being a bunch of forgettable filler

Its as if the creator last minute suddenly thought he had made the show too outrageous and scaled all the characters and subplots back in favor of boring soap opera bullshit ugh

That's Ryan Murphy for you, amazing start and always fails to nail the landing

same thing happens with almost every AHS season except for Asylum

    Quick thoughts on season two.
It was such a wild ride through fatherhood, brotherhood, aging, fear of (not) taking risks and mental illness!
About the climax, well, it was just a matter of time to see Sean discovering about Christian affair with his wife and assisting their relationship fastly crumble. No doubts about Chris/Sean bound because they came out even stronger after the truth came out, but I wish Sean/Julia will solve their issues. Let's appreciate 2x09 to 2x12 odd streak, 2x12 really reminded me of Six Feet Under 3x01 and I think that show influenced somehow this one.
Matt's problems of previous season got rushed and resolved too fast just to face a relationship with that ephebofile chick (lately discovered to be a transexual), bringing more troubles to already an already fragile adolescent. Not gonna end well...
The serial killer plot is juicy and I can't wait to see more details on season 3 but the way they dealt with him was excessively naïve. If he attacked Sean what could have stopped him by doing the same with Christian? My only issue with the finale.
Guest star choice was stellar! J.K Simmons, Alec Baldwin and Famke stole the show! Ironic the last one mentioned f***ed up her face years later because surgery.
Also... where the hell is the hot psychologist? Been missing since last couple of episodes from first season.

Yep, ended 3rd season, great progression for characters but finale was aight. It was solid tho, got that Dexter atmosphere because of The Carver, a crossover could have been awesome.

  • As ridiculous as the show was, it was the show that made me want to watch tv shows more religiously so it will always have a place in my heart
