I just wonder how this gonna affect Hip-hop. I feel like it's gonna be weird transition for rappers to go from Trap to house.

I know there's gonna be a lot of rappers that won't survive this.

im sure some producer will find a nice middle ground between house and the current trap sound thatll get adopted. hell, the genre is already skewing melodic as is. all it needs now is the bounce™.

I think Kaytranada is that perfect balance, because he could do blend both styles well. I just don't know how rappers like YB and Baby would approach his instrumentals, but it would be interesting.

I hope this is start to where mainstream hip-hop could possibly go back to other sounds as well.
