when i was a kid my mom used to pay for that gamestop pro membership that came with game informer. i still have my childhood tv stand that had a drawer under it and i just checked it and these are the only 4 i have left
The Max Payne 3 one is so cool
Game Informer was probably the best gaming journalism platform ever imo. Always stayed tune cause they had dope coverage. It felt grand everytime I opened that page.
However, when it was bought by GameStop it kind of lost that essence. But it for sure had longevity and kept in with the times.
End of an era
Crazy how I use to dream about working there
literally only relevant for their covers. who was reading those?
sad but that's the way of the future
i remember when they offered a subscription with the gamestop memberships so i remember my family had a subscription in the early 2010s and this was before smartphones were a big thing so i would read them on the toilet
i remember having this issue, it’s a shame they cancelled this for R6 SIEGE
also the themes of American domestic terror is kinda eerie to look back on considering the year this was made
i don’t think ubi would ever make a game like this again lol

Still have that Max Payne one
I remember my dad signed up for it at GameStop once when I was a kid
I remember having the gta 4 one and a few others
damn, end of an era. i got so many old game informer mags from back in the day when i was subscribed to them
Every issue of Game Informer at my childhood public library was always left with torn pages. Also remember reading an article about Animal Crossing: Wild World that influenced me to buy the game.
Just copped an extra 30 issues I was nostalgic about
Real. Buy them now the prices are probably going to get super jacked up as the years go buy
staff didn't even know

Highly ignorant post
They had many exclusives in both coverage and especially developer interviews that was only accessible through the actual mags, and game concept art
Legendary company in gaming and very important
