Last 4 seasons trash.
Nah, season 6 was great. Last 2 episodes of 6 might be the peak of the show.

Season 6 finale was actually a top 5 episode you’re right there. Episode gave me some false hope. Battle of the B******s was dumb as s*** though. Had to turn your brain off to enjoy it.
I never understood the hype behind this show. if u had to explain properly and tried to convince me to watch it, tell me how would u go about doing so? cause im not really into fantasy medieval stuff

Amazing cast, world building, and interweaving storylines. First half of the show is more of a political drama with fantasy elements sprinkled in. Later in the show is when the fantasy elements affect the plot significantly.

I wasn't into medieval fantasy s*** either. For the most part I'm still not. But GoT was the only one that kept my attention.
For the most part the dialogie is great and characters (for the most part) aren't protected by plot armor too much. If they make stupid choices that would get them killed, they're going to get yoked.
The music and the usage of practical fx really do a good job of immersing you. Doesn't feel like I'm watching some s*** on Syfy

Fantasy is an essential part of the world, but early on in first few seasons magic is used sparingly to the point where most of the character never see it or even believe it’s real. The fantasy element is introduced slowly.
It’s mostly about the characters and how they learn and change. People loved the show for how unpredictable it was. The content was dark and each episode was tense af bc s*** could pop off at any moment.
Basically, the got a ton of love,L not just for having cool fantasy action, but for having a story and characters that make you want to personally invest in the show. And a lot of people did.
FYI: Everything I just said is irrelevant thanks to the final season of GoT, but you should still watch the show. It’s ruined, but still good.
Going to finally start this today.
The entire first 4 seasons are peak GOT
Watching the show for the first time and im up to season 4. I really liked season 2 but i found season 3 really boring except for the red wedding. I wish the show had less scenes of the characters just standing around talking even if the political drama is the main focus
I ended up disliking this series. Not just cause of the bad ending but the hype it got hurt the quality for me. It became way too commercial. And my point is supported by that Power is power commercial driven song

-Beric vs Hound
-Jaime losing hand
-Nights Watch turning on Craster
-Daenerys burning Astapor slavers
-Reek
Season 3 was crazyyy, surprised you thought it was boring. And trust me you are going to miss those slow political moments the further you get into the series

I didn't understand that Hound fight, I wasn't sure who the new characters were or why that guy had a fire sword
He’s finishing them right now
he's been "finishing" them for like 8 years straight at this point

The Brotherhood Without Banners, a group of rebels who are against House Lannister.
They protect the common people from soldiers . Whenever they capture an enemy soldier, they hang them after a trial. They captured the Hound and put him on trial for his atrocities he has committed throughout his life. The Hound's fight was a 'trial by combat'. He won the fight so he was able to go free
The man with the fire sword is Beric Dondarrion. He worships the Red God, Thoros Of Myr is a wizard that has a close relationship with Beric and uses the Red God's power to revive Beric whenever he dies

He’s got extra time because of Corona lol
He’s got extra time because of Corona lol
nah trust me it ain't gonna change a thing, he's a habitual liar and constantly has new excuses and s***
I mean he had enough time to write that wholeass 700 page prequel book or whatever in recent years, so he could have easily written book 6 in that time instead but he chose not to.
man's got some huge writers block on the main story I suspect but he just keeps telling fans it's a matter of being too busy
