What kind of vibes? Also does it have a map where it says how to get from point a to point b? My friend gave me ghost of tsunami or whatever and that game has no map and the whole game play is at night and your a warrior in the 1300s wtf

its like a modern espionage simulator

story kinda convoluted if u not familiar with it but the open world is fun and gives a lot of freedom on how to approach each mission

not as pure of an open world game as GTA though where u are in like a large city

MGSV also does not really help you, for newcomers is also pretty tough if you don't already know how the game works (I was new on MGS too trust me it's not that intuitive as fans let on for a first time)

I don't think we got alot examples left if u played RDR2 because no other games have that GTA vibe

You can also try Resident Evil 2. Its not open world but it has guns and you shoot a lot of s***

The only games I have been playing since read dead 2 is nba 2k, just got wwe 2k 22 (trash af), and recently played gta 5 remastered and gta San Andreas remastered Vice city and gta 3 are in playable

Watch dogs just as easy as GTA, you just have actual stealth options and slight player freedom, maybe try that

Yakuza is also fantastic, you don't drive tho. You maneuver around boroughs of Japan, most metropolitan, some not

Althought Yakuza is harder than both GTA and watch dogs. Its a beat em up (one of them is turn based) with an RPG system

Imo mgs5 is the only MGS game you can play without playing the others

But that said… play the others first

Phantom pain is also the "easiest" metal gear, I'd try that

But if watch dogs and far cry are too hard, that's definitely too hard
