Because most of their statements solely focus on the deaths of one side and are silent for the many sieges that lead up to this moment. If you can't keep the same energy sometimes its best to say nothing at all. Those saying something are many trying to protect their brand and do "I stand with Israel". Many want to stand with Palestine but know it will hurt them to even acknowledge the many innocent deaths of entire buildings toppled over . This happens every operation.
Every Ramadan that is attacked is met with silence and "I pray for peace". Peace isn't coming with your prayer. Peace isn't coming with you being complacent unless an major act of terrorism occurs. Peace is coming when you make an effort to speak out more than when its convenient for your brand or for you to get a good look.
