Yes you are a "Semite" but "anti-Semitism" refers to negative feelings against Jews specifically of the Semitic nations due to historical processes I am not entirely sure of (probably that the Jews were until recently the only Semitic nation with a large presence in/close interactions with the West)

Yeah "anti-Semitism" is a relic from the age where race science was more in fashion, just like "Caucasian". I don't think any Arab or Jew or Assyrian or Amhara or Maghrebi really identifies as a Semite in the way that Serbs and Poles and Russians all identify as Slavs. Nevertheless, they are all by definition Semites due to speaking Semitic languages, but the anti-Semitism, as a term, is a historical holdover and has a specific definition from that.
