NothingIsno Israeli citizen is a “civilian”, every single person living in “Israel” did so by displacing or killing the Palestinian who lived there before. and for those born in “Israel”, they can leave once they’re adults with the ability to make their own choices too.
for a relevant comparison, if someone inherited a slave from their parents, they’re still slave-owners, even though they didn’t buy the slave themselves. same logic applies to Israelis who were born there.

Nazism still continues in many ways of blind allegiance to imperialism, manifest destiny, ethnic cleansing or justifying oppression. Many of us on KTT would not act surprised on "why do they hate us" because we follow American Foreign Policy. But celebrate the destruction of American lives that have nothing to do with the Foreign Policy of America besides paying taxes?
The same way I can be against Putin but a Russian who just happens to live in Russia who has nothing to do with the conflict is a human being.

Glad someone gets it and can word it well to Mountain Dude who pretends to be purposefully dense. The people that profited from slavery land , money and ownership wise will never give it back in anyway shape or form. When we as in black people form any sort of collective or try to make progress they say "move on it was so long ago". Israel says that while continuously taking more land. The closest equivalent would be black people modern day objections to the slavery system that is the prison system being met with we deserve to be there. Two things:
1. It is a waste of tax payer money for our country to be funding any war. I thought you were pro-Palestine so if I say I don't support the USA funding Israel to fight this war, wouldn't you be agreeing?
2. This is going to escalate. If Hamas goes into Jerusalem and other countries join them (already saw talks about Afghanistan, Iran, and I believe Saudi) then you best believe that this is going to pull the entire west into it. How is that a good thing at all?

I am not even talking reddit war I am talking in the general public its common or socially acceptable for people to say terrible things about Muslims, Russians or anyone we are at war with either currently or perpetually. The same way hate attacks kicked up on the Chinese during the pandemic and all asian people. Hatred is tolerated or encouraged when a group is properly othered by the news, media and art. This includes black people so why would I be silent when Palestinians and Muslims are getting ethnically cleansed? Why would I be silent when I have personally with my own eyes seen them come out tin solidarity for our struggles? To me that is cowardice
