Yes, I know every Israeli must serve in the IDF at a certain point in their lives. Still doesn’t make it right to kill people who are non-combatants and before you go saying Israel does it all the time, I know. No matter what I can’t justify people dying, Hamas are extremists that hate Jews/Israeli people. I wouldn’t be surprised if most Palestinians hated all Jews now due to this long lasting conflict. This will never end unless one country is completely wiped off the face of the Earth. Peace talks aren’t going to work at this point, it’s long past that and even then Palestinians still wouldn’t be happy to have their land taken from them if there was peace.

Either way I don’t understand how people on this site flip-flop around from supporting terrorists calling them resistance fighters/freedom fighters when they’re going around killing indiscriminately but also get mad when Azov who just wave around Nazi symbols and commit war crimes are a thing in Ukraine. I would say it’s due to the religious context of the land as well as both being at war with each other since the 1940s. How would this work, Palestine is determined to stay and Israel isn’t trying to leave either. There was multiple peace attempts but one side doesn’t want to be a 2 state country.

It’s been a few generations of bad-blood and many Israelis are completely oblivious to how Palestinians feel or are treated or they just don’t give a f***. Now they’re starting to realize it at least the younger generations, the older ones already knew but didn’t care. No one has the idea for a peaceful resolution and even if they did, it isn’t going to be for a long time to even get that into motion. By then Gaza will be under Israeli control and many many Palestinians will be forced out or dead.

It’s not like Western Nations can strong arm Palestine and Israel to just accept that borders will be different like they have done in the past with Asian and European countries. The US can tell Israel to stop oppressing Palestinians and killing them but Palestine will still want their land back.

Maybe I’m wrong and hopefully I am, but no matter what happens Israel will still be a colonizing nation even if peace is achieved and many people won’t ever like them.
