So my ex blocked me after about 7 months of no contact and I just wanted some of your inputs as to why she would do that

I found out because I woke up to an email saying she opened an email that I sent to her about 3 months ago which led to check her ig profile seeing that she has recently blocked me

has this ever happened to any of you? im guessing she was just randomly thinking about me which led her to open to email then maybe blocked me to finally end all possibilities of us getting back?
