I spent maybe a decade of my most formative years viewing this conflict from all sorts of angles. I did projects on it from school, I sought the advice of Jewish, Muslims, Christian, Arab, Israeli voices from the land who I knew personally. I read articles by western media, Israeli media, Arab media. I read statements by Hamas, the IDF, PFLP, al Qaeda, the EU, the US. I saw combat footage, handheld recordings of the deaths of hundreds. I saw ticker tape and talking heads on TV, I followed the stock market as the conflict flared up. I’ve read infographic upon infographic. Maps, journals, almanacs, doodles, flags, memos, documents, crude children’s handwriting. I’ve digested all I can handle. I’m done thinking about this critically. This conflict doesn’t deserve a long term critical approach. It doesn’t need one.

I will not, and cannot, ever believe a single claim the Israeli government or any Israeli pundit makes ever again. I will never doubt the claims a Palestinian makes regarding this GENOCIDE ever again. My investigations have never brought me to another conclusion yet, and I fear it never will. There is a bias to be had and it is a rightful one.

The sheer level of willful obfuscation, of rampant violence, of hypocrisy, of gross violation of every single moral fabrication we come to accept as a civilised people, is inherited in the colonial project we see before us. It is a comprehensive evil that cannot come close to anything else we’ve seen in our lifetime. It will lie, manipulate, bully, kill, maim, imprison, drown, or otherwise silence anything in its path.

May Hamas, the Palestinian militias, the Palestinian nation, and every Arab Muslim, Jew, Christian, Zoroastrian, Druze, atheist, and/or pagan wipe away the plague of the Zionist project. May every westerner one day experience the deafening silence the Palestinian people have experienced as their children are torn limb from limb in front of their very eyes. Empathy is lost on these people, and so the must feel it burn

This is foolish.
It is ALWAYS important to think critically. No matter what. Not least because when you don’t, people will stop trusting you, and you can hurt the perception of the very thing you care so much about. You lose the ability to see things honestly. What a ridiculous statement. Of course it needs a long term critical approach. If not that, then what? Blind faith?

If you truly refuse to ever doubt the claims a Palestinian makes ever again then you are in a cult, plain and simple. This is the very basis of dogma. It’s sad to see the complete rejection of intellectual curiosity and truth seeking be championed here.

Fog of war forensics are the dumbest part of the discourse, but peoples' interpretations of them speak loud and clear. Raves outside of concentration camps, a million dead Israeli babies, and mind palace bombing conspiracies. Every narrative set up, hammered home, and moved on from. Exhausting nonsense.

everyone itt knows that a statement from either party is going to be biased. they would still get posted itt. israels biased statements have been posted itt. bidens biased statements have been posted itt.

you were the first person to interact with that post, and someone who was genuinely interested in learning would've read it and took it with a grain of salt. instead you are in here like "well askhually isn't this biased should this be posted itt?"

if you can't answer a question as simple as "do you think joe biden's statements are biased?"

then you've either spent less than 15 minutes looking into this situation, or are just full of s*** and trolling.
