They are purposefully ignoring historical context.
They are saying “well if terrorists came to our country and killed over a thousand people, wouldn’t we retaliate?”
But why do those terrorists exist in the first place?
And Israel & the IDF have killed far more civilians in Palestine than Hamas has ever killed.
This stuff should be common sense, but I fear the propaganda is too strong, and the neuroplasticity of adults it’s too solid to change their understanding of the world in any meaningful way.

Funny enough, the Irgun/Etzel/Lehi were considered terrorist groups by international community/even the west -- they became the first generation of the IDF/IOF.
The country was founded by terrorists, many of their leaders took very senior gov positions for years.
