Both sides have been doing f***ed up s*** to no end, I can argue that Hamas is using schools and hospitals as human shields, and I’ll also bet they’re harming THEIR own people. Not to mention the Arab countries are laughing being able to kill Jews while not giving a s*** about what happens to Palestinians.

At end of the day man, civilians have to get the black eye while the evil leaders sit back and flourish. I can’t outright cap for either side, different sides of the same coin pretty much.

“both sides” my ass, israelis are the ones who came to Palestine for the sole purpose of killing Palestinians to steal their homes.

plus, there is no such thing as an israeli “civilian” (aside from children) when they’re all settlers and required to join the IDF

Please educate me on this “lack of perspective” of what you claimed about my post? Frankly I’m only aware of the main premise of this conflict but I’m not tapped into the nitty gritty details

I’m simply acknowledging how I can’t outright side with either of the parties given the atrocities they’re committing.

It’s a very simple question to ask: who has power in the region? How are they handling their power? Is their power usurping the agency of any opposition?

I talked about it with tgdaddy itt. In essence, Israel was aware of the morally righteous and secular movements in Palestine who were very unproblematic and garnered mass support overseas, delegitimizing their movement.

What’s the answer? Well, with military and economic power in the hands of the Israelis, theres no shortage of ways they can manipulate the situation to drag down the enemy without compromising themselves.

Very simply, they killed, maimed, disappeared, imprisoned, or otherwise snuffed out all these other movements, and not only gave leeway, but also financial support, to Hamas, a fundamentalist and elaborately violent political party to fill The void

Now, they have an enemy they can easily paint as a “terrorist” force and a force that acts erratically to the point where people doubt the very validity of a continued Palestinian existence

Basically Israel won’t allow anyone other than Hamas control Gaza because anyone else would give people like you more reason to support the Palestinian cause

I don't need to read anything I see europeans gassing mosques and children starving on poisoned water. Go f*** yourself.

Don't speak on Hamas actual goals if you are not familiar with their constitution, that is misinformation

Based on my understanding, Israel did technically help sprawl up Hamas back in the early days to counter PLO (another organization actively attacking Israel). Down the line however, Israel realized they mistakenly contributed to the growth of another terrorist organization that’s willing to slaughter civilians. It’s a misconception that Israel solely created Hamas to make Palestinians “look bad”.

So you’re partially right, but wrong about Israel’s intentions in the first place. Besides, I just feel bad for all the civilians involved having to deal with the crisis and misery.

Is this video representative of the populations sentiments towards Palestine? Are they disillusioned with their own governments behaviour domestically and therefor reactionary towards things Iran is aligned with geopolitically?

I’d be curious to read about Iranian population sentiments towards Palestine iif anyone can point me to info
