Some wall bouncing cool but heard it got worse in gears 5 . Gears 12 it was perfect

Gears 1 was horrible then again I only started with 2

1 and 2 was great because it was janky. 3 was okay but that was the downfall it was way too smooth which was problematic. Never played 5 but removing it all together is disrespectful

Naaaaah that's a cheese ass function of the og engine being janky. This game needs to be available for new users to survive
