Now they want it to sell poorly / have low player count so they can have and coalition employees can lose their job / say “ should have came to ps5”

Could be. It’s extremely polished. The maps need to be great. I never been a gears campaign guy so multiplayer needs to be on point

Sadly gonna flop. On gamepass = no sales

This out scoring Saros, Wolverine, Resonant,First Light and just slightly under Requiem is going to get interesting

that is a sad reality but metracritic mattered too and it cleared that hurdle.

Unfortunately correct. Gears does not have the staying power for a MP game. Way too much skill expression and new players are just going to get absolutely destroyed. I'd love to be wrong, but I do not see it being a huge success.

game has free dlc path this isnt meant to be their live service money maker. The first call of duty not on gamepass is.

That’s true but sales =/= quality. Which is why they raised that subscription price they were losing out

many including myself will be paying 30 for premium upgrade to play early and its doing great on steam

long term though should they do certain games as buy only at launch not on gamepass ? I think so yes. but the value is good is the value worth layoffs ? no . After they finish the reset they need to go an entire year of no layoffs

games with 3 modes doing well is good for us all

I see where you coming from but I would have put in on PS from the financial standpoint. I see where Microsoft is coming from because this is their biggest release in a while

Many have said they bought an xbox because they want to play this game and dont have a pc. They buy a xbox and pay for gamepass that gives you more money than 60$ from a playstation user
