First time listener of geese but I will say heavy metal did not click for me either but never revisited after first listen

Warming up to it for sure. Islands of men is I think my favorite vocal performance so far on the album

it took me a while for them to click for me, keep digging

3D Country was my entry point, I didn’t care for it. I listened to Heavy Metal, thought it was fine. Then I found myself going back to a couple songs, then stuck around for the others, and quickly got addicted. Went back to 3DC and found a new appreciation for it. This took probably 6 months lmao

It’s good but I think the marketing machine behind Cameron winter’s vocal and songwriting ability is way out of hand, people act like bro is writing mythical anthems for the ages when realistically no Geese or Winter solo songs will be getting play in 10 or even 5 years

would love to know where this marketing machine comes from when they've been steadily building for like 5 years. the marketing machine is cameron's solo being incredible and spotlighting his talent and writing, putting a ton of people onto him, then them coming back with an insane project

the marketing machine is completely organic, everyone i know including me had a jarring 1-3rd first listens of cameron and geese, but once we got it, it's the type of art you wanna scream about from the rooftops
