Will it wash your hair clean
Will your husbands all die
Will you know what I mean
might be my favorite... either that or cobra
Cobra seems to be the song getting playlisted/pushed the most on Spotify, good pick! most palatable song on here

such great pop sensibilities in his songwriting between that and love takes miles, it's a defining factor in his talent that'll push them farther than just being internet critic darlings. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the song they do on kimmel wednesday
I totally agree with @alifeofsin about them having a sort of beatles type artistry to them because paul's incredible pop songwriting & melodies made their abstract/experimental elements so much more palatable and natural sounding. it's part of why I think they hit so hard for a lot of people even with such a unique voice & sound
i wonder how the old guitarist who left the band feels seeing their success now.. was thinking the same thing about Abhi/Dijon parting ways and Dijon becoming so much more popular and acclaimed years after. dont mean to get too parasocial with these guys, im sure they've got other priorities in life, but its such a nightmare scenario to imagine myself taking part in a project for years, leaving, and then that group blows up

cobra and elderberry wine are my two favorite pop moments from bands this year
i listened to an interview and they said they don't really enjoy being compared to other bands, but coming from a huge radiohead fan, it's crazy how heavy metal is better than all solo thom albums. can't wait for the future of this band man
This s*** is cinema

Are they getting the Radiohead comparison a lot? Because it kept crossing my mind listening this morning

yeah def seeing the comparisons here and there, the title track sounds straight out of in rainbows, but also, very distinctly geese at the same time
aight...after trying to diss it for a bit
I get it, and its good
lyrically, a bit nonsensical and pretentious, but overall - its dope
top 10 ever is crazy but im glad you fw it that much
It's that good imo lol lol but yes
taxes live was so special, that song is going to live on forever
Generational
This s*** was so good. Really love this band, glad this wound up being better than 3d country
This album is incredible. Top 2 this year and the closing track is probably my Song of the year
This album and the Squid debut from 4 years ago are prob my favorite rock records this decade. Must be in the names.
