What's everyones least favourite song on the album, recognizing that there's no "bad" tracks? I'd go with Half Real
islands of men or 100 horses
still like em but never remember what they sound like til theyre playing
Man not to get too parasocial but Dijon seems like a great guy + father, not a prick at all like most big artists. He's got prestige
mexican hairless
i was extremely excited for this and been putting it off til now. knew it was acclaimed and was glad the band got some recognition. halfway through i realize im not feeling it and thats when i found out kenny beats produced it
this is the biggest disappointment of the year straight up. someone on rym said it best quote 'big dawg youre supposed to be a great rock artist and youre performing like a BUM'. f***ing felt that in my soul man because that is exactly how i feel about this album

you should tap in with this, it's mixed by radiohead's producer/engineer nigel goodrich instead and gives the songs a whole different life

Basement session is cool but not sure I'd want them to work with Goodrich for a whole album honestly
just learned Kenny Beats produced this
Please don't deadname him. It's Kenneth Blume now

I actually agree tbh I honestly prefer kenny's mix because of how he stages cam's vocals front and center and makes everything feel so punchy and full. that really makes the whole thing for me because it feels most like an extension of cam's solo work. I think the album is mixed immaculately as is, like it sounds so good in any setting. nigel's mix plays to the strength they have as a live band and keeping everyone equal but that's not exactly what I love about their studio sound in comparison since it's a different thing. imo kenny took what he learned from nigel and applied it in the best ways
