Exactly, s***s toned down big time. I grew up in a privileged area, went through a majority white schooling system and was hardly exposed to the real gruesome horrible details. It took my own reading and learning to see it all. These schools that aren't pointing out the privilege certain people have are failing them and everyone around em.
