There might be some songs or albums you fw but for the most part you don’t see the appeal no matter how many times you try
For me it’s Indie Rock
i dont like music in general
Neo Soul with Synth funk. I just can’t get into it.
Notable examples of this is thundercat and Igor. I wish I could like it but I can’t.
Another example is new country unless it’s really old school, metal, electronic/EDM, the white-washed lo-fi genre,
I was gonna say pop too but I forgot that Doja cat got some bangers
VLONE-core raps or that pluggnb stuff e.g. Pierre Bourne as a rapper, Yeat, Ken Carson etc
Midwest emo
Indie rock
2000s indie rock is so uninteresting on the whole
Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Broken Social Scene, Vampire Weekend (minus Modern Vampires), Radiohead, Wilco etc. Erase them from existence and no one would notice
Lol it’s actually turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, gravy, a crushed up biscuit and stuffing
Hyperpop
Thought it was a joke when I first heard it
Also these weird lo fi songs from TikTok bar chopped and screwed, child predator music
Pop (the actual sound) & country
Only country i fux with here n there is like outlaw cowboy gutter s*** songs once in a while, & only pop i like is s*** that isnt "legit pop" or the stereotype pop in sound
Oh and pop punk + emo punk
Unlike the only two i mentioned above, these are straight f***ing trash ass genres with nothing good about them
Only midwest emo is decent
anime theme song music
Blues and most metal genres. Could never really fw them
Midwest emo trash
pop punk is trash as well.
Imo ofcourse

I honestly feel this.
Although I recently delved into Radiohead up to I think In Rainbows and they are really great, I just wouldn’t listen to them all the time. I’d have to be in a very particular mood
