Ah ok i see, i mean i’ve been playing for a while too and tbh i never really expected much from these guys, content has been abyssmal since launch. You explore Mondstadt/Liyue/Dragonspine/Inazuma, do the archon quest and that’s about it. All the other content just feels like a chore. Part of this is the communitys fault, people only care about primogems and pulling new characters. All of Inazuma feels like a downgrade from Liyue. Especially part 2 of the archon quest. Until people start asking for real content nothing will change

agreed. quite a number of pain points i have with the game. the artifact system being so genuinely awful is really hurting it for me rn. been farming the blizzard strayer domain for a minute so i can get another decent set for ganyu/ayaka so i don't have to swap artifacts between the two whenever i wanna use the other (or just use em both together). i just can't get even a decent cryo cup and i've been farming it on/off for like two months now guess it's not a huge issue since everyone i actively use has some decent artifacts and i'm kinda min/maxing & can do floor 12, but man, it's so demoralizing getting awful artifacts for months.

Inazuma disappointed me so much I can’t even begin to express it. Liyue easily the best region still, if Sumeru doesn’t hit I’ll probably call it quits. +1 to everything else you said

Haven’t been able to get good artifacts for Hu Tao since she was released and I’ve farmed it crimson witch literally everyday I’ve played. If she wasn’t triple crowned and OP as hell I wouldn’t even be able to use her.

The Elon musk s*** is why I hopped on here annoyed, what the F*** was the point of that? The fanbase / PR for this game is so weird and polarizing I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a confusing marketing scheme for such a successful game

it took me like 45 fragile resin to get a single hp% sands for her. fortunately it was a decent roll. was not in a good mood at all farming for her artifacts

it's honestly a shame the game is heading in the direction it's going. though mhy doesn't have to change a thing and they'll still continue to make billions. saw some dude in china is giving away 1200 childes to ppl, like hello???

really not understanding their actions with the elon stuff. i genuinely don't know why they thought that was a good idea. they just came off of an abysmal anniversary with significant (and well deserved) backlash from the community, and they hit us with "we'll invite elon musk to meet the director if you give us millions of followers". just having a half decent communication/transparency with the devs would so nice to see. blows my mind how this game is so absurdly successful, but the PR is dumpster-fire tier is just insane to me.

just give ppl some primos. i obv want actual CONTENT and not rhythm or treasure hunting games, but understand that it takes time for devs to receive that feedback and develop it, but giving ppl primos so they can wish for the characters they want would definitely be a step in the right direction.

Depends tbh, you just like the characters and want to play them? Just pick the one you want. You wanna do end game content like abyss or just follow the meta? If you have Xiangling built, and Bennett and Sucrose you can run Vape Childe which is one of the best team comps in the game iirc.

think Hu Tao is better for bigger nuke damage, if you have Xingqiu.

But if you already got a well built XiangLing, Childe is very good as well

Also, Hu Tao is more of a Single Target type changer with a little bit of AoE in her ult

Childe has pretty solid AoE with his passive or w/e and his ult

Had c4 childe since his first banner. Ridiculously fun to play, and just got his banner weapon and it helps a lot but not needed. You can use viridescent, rust, skyward harp or thu series pulse. C4 actually kinda ruins his reactions because riptide stays on after he’s off field but I don’t care. C1 is probably the best bang for ya buck. His international team puts out a lot of damage and he also has the fireworks team he can use.

HuTao is a beast of a pyro carry. Best single target dps I’m pretty sure. Her limitations are her lack of team comp options imo. You’re gonna be tied to a shielder likely (hopefully zhongli but that’s expensive. ) Thoma has good synergy with her tho since his icd is long and won’t interfere the vape/melt reactions. C1 Hutao is possibly the best C1 con in the game for a 5 star character in terms of value. Up there with Eula’s C1. But Homa is the best polearm and one of the best weapons in the game so if ya wanna go for that you can’t lose.

If we talking f2p, if you learn hutao jump or dash cancel mechanics then she’s pretty f2p but childe would probably be even moreso imo. Childe best team is basically f2p

Yup. I pulled Childe because of his team comps and f2pness. If I really want Hutao I would feel compelled to get c1 or Homa because of how good they are.

I’m saving up for Ganyu and Kazuha/Venti now. The Geo dudes are not it for me.

I’m a lil torn on itto because I love Geo but they got problems especially against shields. I regret skipping kazuha but I was burned out at that time. Waiting for kazuha eula reruns at this point.
