Isn’t gacha basically just microtransactions? Or am I getting it wrong, cause thats what it seems like to me

yes and no. gachas have things similar to loot boxes, where you have a chance to pull an item (in this game, characters & weapons). you can generally purchase currency to get more chances to do more pulls, summons, w/e you wanna call em. the summonable items, chars, etc. you get from the gacha are almost always better than the stuff you get in game, so gachas are typically p2w.

A lot of gacha games are P2W but some (the good ones) are F2P friendly so it’s a mixed bag. They all have the same formula though of hiding a character behind luck. For games like this that solely single player I have no problem with a gacha system bc it’s not P2W, you can never spend a dime on this game and still win

Tier lists in this game tbh should be taken with a grain of salt. Like some characters are “better” at certain things but it’s mostly about how you use elements with other elements and get party synergy.

Went into this game thinking it would be ass and now I can’t stop playing. S***s really raised the bar for all these free-to-play gacha games.
