Why not just quit then come back for the big updates that add new regions and s***, i’m debating on doing that myself

because some things will never change, Traveler will never talk, gliding will always be slow as f***, new characters will continue to appear even tho you can only use 4 of them at once and most of them have the same abilities, so the main goal will always end up being grinding for new characters

I would come back if they implement some sort of PvP system or some infinite survival mode

Tbf you can make gliding faster by using the feather item

yeah I meant with that feather item included, the game is so big and you can glide a very very long distance but you can only do it like you have a handicap, slow and with 0 control

imagine gliding like you do it in Batman Arkahm Knight, this is the type of gliding Genshin needs, but no they just let you teleport to a bunch of locations and it just ruins immersion of the game

game is pretty awful in terms of meaningful content imo. i think the rate they put out content is actually very impressive (i.e. new regions and whatnot), but there's none i really want to interact with. could definitely argue new regions are meaningful, and i'd probably agree, but it's just mindless "exploring" at the end of the day.

my biggest issue is that the only "difficult" content more than a year in is just the abyss, and it is just not fun at all. there's no reason to pull for characters/gear them up because there's no content to use them on besides abyss. everything in the overworld just gets immediately melted by anything.

don't get me started on the god awful artifact farming either
