After the SOLO STADIUM SOLD OUT SHOW IN MEXICO that is continuing to Brazil, we can officially say it's no one bro.

Countries and demographics that Rap concerts rarely ever touched and it's the biggest ever for HipHop, usually only major pop stars go out there from America like Madonna and Michael Jackson nigga.

Just like when he achieved the initial biggest world tour for Rap ever after MMBS he achieved it again back on top with GNX, which ENGULFS that tour many times over!

    • On top of NLU being the biggest Rap song of all time and stayed in the top 40 for nearly two years since its debut

    • On top of a classic and pop culture gigantic album that spawned multiple hits some of which are also still going that solidified his career by dropping off a Damn Pt. 2 with GNX when niggas were trying to clown him for going his independent artsy route of MMBS he had to show them again just like after TPAB even tho both TPAB and MMBS still sold great

    • On top of how he continues to advance and inspire the Rap medium in all facets from influence to culture to critics to charts to awards to impact to peers and the art

    • On top of fully succeeding the "prophecy" put into him since S80 of becoming the biggest Rapper that perfectly blends the mainstream and underground with the conscious rapper and the streets rapper n club rapper n the battle tested battle rapper hitting the ultimate goal and fantasy of a Rap artist in every aspect from A to Z

    • On top of still sticking to his roots, origins, and being so HipHop to the very core no matter what even in a climate where Rap overall is waning in the public and still able to be one of the biggest stars ever with one of the biggest tours ever not only in Rap but period giving a strong victory lap to the genre and culture while wearing it on his sleeve

This is Rap's Shepard, and where many failed and didn't live up to "the prophecy" before him. The Lupes, The Jay Electronicas, The Kanyes and even the JColes and a few others. He did fulfill the mission on every angle and went even beyond expectations.

Even if you don't personally like him yourself, there is no denying these literal facts and that he has hit every single mark outside of that.

The culture, the people, the numbers, the awards, the tours, the charts, the critics, the art, the peer respect and the genre influence/impact. This is a win for the entirety of HipHop no matter what coast or side you from as both a genre and CULTURE.

In the words of Tupac Shakur:
"You don't gotta like it but please respect it"

Not a big fan of him in 2025 but Eminem stans could do a TON of bragging if they wanted to as well.

Bro is a middle aged grandfather and still outstreaming a lot of the hottest rappers today while barely doing features and staying out of the limelight. Still the best selling rapper ever in real CD sales, no made up s***s too.

    Hold up.

I thought ya'll cared about the culture more than the media.

Why would sales and Grammy's automatically make Kendrick rank higher than Jay-Z when Jay has more than twice the amount of albums as Kendrick and is effectively retired.

I like Kendrick but some of you niggas sound corny af when it comes to these evaluations.

Pac and Biggie never needed to fall back on White media awards and acclaim to argue their GOAT case. Neither did Ice Cube, Rakim, or DMX.

Nigga said "pass up Jay-Z all time" like Jay Z's a YN who debuted in 2014 and only has 5 albums lol.

I'm not even saying there isn't in argument for Kendrick over Jay in terms of certain metrics like acclaim and consistency but falling back on these White pop stan arguments for a GOAT case while claiming to care about the culture is ironic af lol.

Kendrick won the biggest rap beef and then followed it up with a classic album. nobody can make that claim except Kendrick Lamar

I don’t care about any of that. I care about music. Kendrick’s last three albums haven’t been bad but none of them lived up the quality of gkmc or tpab. I guess having a record breaking diss track under his belt is a win for us but I’d much rather have had another next level project from him. I do not feel like a winner as a Kendrick fan

Like can we make up our mind if "the culture" or the media matters more or not?

Every single thing OP listed is driven by sales, popularity, White critics, and media awards.

Nothing wrong with that in the slightest but it's the textbook definition of Drake stan logic or 2010's era Kanye/Eminem stan logic to only use those metrics to argue a rapper's GOAT case.

It's a lot of rappers worthy of praise who the media has s***ted on and underrated for years but hip hop culture still f***s with them anyway. DMX and Scarface are good examples.

It's just weird that we spent so much of 2024 complaining about hip hop being sold out and being reliant on numbers and popularity.........yet we're using numbers and popularity to claim a rapper "won" more than other legends.

Kendrick's in my top 10 DOA but it's just kinda funny to see the tides turning. Now, you got Drake stans in 2025 going around claiming numbers aren't everything, songs are being botted, and labels are corrupt lmao.
