Carlin has some amazing jokes but a lot of his stuff essentially boils down to

Carlin deserves his praise but I absolutely hate how he's deified as some great philosopher specifically by gen x MFs who take his ironic detachment as a life philosophy.

I've seen Carlinism used to poo poo voting, used to downplay COVID, and even used to not give a F*** aby climate change

.....and Pryor and Patrice better
