Back in 2012 I saw him live before a Tim and Eric show, then after the show he was hanging around the bar outside the little theatre they played. He's much shorter than I expected, and was wearing a backpack - because he was facing away from us, I had no idea it was him.

My friends and I were standing in a sort of loose circle near the bar, and I was asking them why they let some little school kid into the bar - "Is he like the owner's son or something, maybe?" I looked to my right, only to discover that Douggpound had come over and joined our circle, presumably to say hi or whatever, but instead he'd overheard what I was saying.

There was just a super awkward silence for a moment or two, and then he walked off back to the bar.

i didn't listen to the singles, and Justify Your Life was cool when i just heard it. but I Been Young

This was dope, I shouldn't have listened to all the singles since the album is so short 😔 but the new songs are fantastic and the singles are still bangers

idk if he's said any words the last two tracks. but it's vibes

def will have to revisit this one. the production is sick of course but i wasn't expecting it to be so minimal on lyrics/vocals. I Been Young and FUML first listen highlights for me
