Cowboy Bebop, I think this is a good starting point for any westerner who wants to get into anime imo

try Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures, start with part 1 Phantom Blood and make sure to watch all 5 parts if you end up liking it.

Almost forgot you may enjoy Naruto as long as you skip the filler cause it can drag with all those episodes sloshed in between

Start with a big anime like Naruto, dbz, one piece, or bleach and branch off from there

Bebop might be the only dub I actively watch besides DBZ

I think you can actually enjoy them when you're watching the show without having to wait for episodes

Yeah I should mention they aren’t all necessarily BAD, some are hilarious and others are touching but they do get in the way of the actual plot if that’s what you’re mostly looking for.
