Imagine getting bored of hip hop.

Could not be me. So many different sounds and scenes to fit whatever mood I’m in. Always something new to hear and learn

There’s so many subgenres and regional scenes I feel like I’m listening to it more than ever

Certain sub-genres of rap are boring to me now, but I wouldn't say hiphop as is whole is boring lol

I mean it kinda is...the dusty part of rap will forever be dusty no evolution nothing just a bunch of booms and baps and bunch of lyrical spaghetti (boring as s*** to me but i dont bash others)...the soul trap singy songy sub genre was exciting now its whatver, and the trap s*** is still the trap s***

it just feels too samey some of the time and i get sick of it very quickly and ion be overplaying s*** either

Tell me what exactly is “samey” to you about Detroit rap, boom bap, chopped and screwed, Bay s***...I could go on and on.

You clearly either don’t respect it as an art form of just don’t really be listening to it like that

Except that isn’t true. If that was the case rap would still sound like it did in the late 80s

You don’t actually understand or respect the music or culture and just hopped on the wave cause it’s what’s popping in america right now
