Every peice of furniture you buy will eventually have to be moved or thrown out.

Get good cookware and use it.

    Clean your bathroom regularly.

Take the trash out often. Don't let dishes pile up.

Record your apartment before moving in. Helps if you need to argue for your deposit back.

Buy a vacuum, mop, rags and cleaning solution.

Don't let everyone in your crib. Be careful of the energies you let in.

Enjoy the silence, and time alone, lots of the growth on the horizon.

Don’t skimp out on quality furniture. It’s a b**** having to replace everything like a new mattress, couch, dressers etc. It’ll making moving to your other future apartments much easier.

I’m in the process of finding a new apartment and gonna end up either throwing away or selling most of my furniture and I’m responsible for getting all that s*** out of my place.

Also get a nice rug, plants and pictures/art to put on your wall.

As an American living in London, flat is a much better word than apartment

If you got AC, remember to change the AC filter every 3-4 months

My 1st year went like 8 months without changing it

Honestly depends of where you live

Most have one in the actual apt that is changed by the tenant

But yeah check with your landlord or management, either way its supposed to be changed every 3 months
