i made a thread like this last week i believe but since then ive been reaching out alot to my circle and people i know and managed to get a meeting with a producer, hes produced major projects.

can anyone give me some good advice for this meeting. thank you

Be straight to the point. Be prepared, know listening is more important than talking. Don’t be afraid to fail, 9 out of 10 times you will. Not everything will be gold. Don’t just focus on the 1 thing, be always thinking of the next project

@op tell them you got a idea about a young wiseguy, assassin, gets betrayed by his people. They whack him, leave his body parts in dumpsters all around the city. Long story short, he is put back together, by science...or maybe it's supernatural. And he gets payback on everyone who f***ed him over, including the c*** he was engaged to. She was getting porked by his boss the night the hero was killed.

Only advice is make sure you know how the show or film you want to pitch is going to be made from top to bottom

They say you should be able to pitch a movie in a elevator hence "elevator" pitch. Which basically means you should be able to pitch your idea fast and to the point and intrigue the listener. Having a movie with automatic sequel to franchise potential is a good idea as well. Just be confident in your idea and come with some enthusiasm and have your characters be relatable when doing pitch too. Never did it before but I'm a writer so this stuff intrigues me.
