This is exactly why whenever I see this kinda terminology blow up I s*** on lil white niggas cause it’s them pushing it and they actively try to push their narratives about hip hop to the forefront and act like they run s*** lmao
Hip hop is a joke
I honestly think you have to be in alignment with satan to say “i hate soul”
its also dumb because its still a very popular sampling choice in all forms

All the old niggas and the pro gatekeeping niggas had a point at the end of the day
It would be interesting to see the state of hip hop if niggas moved the way they do in country music but for better or worse rap has always been very inclusive in comparison to country
Dude who produces for Lil Mabu (Whose whole shtick is mocking a subgenre of rap) talking about soul music lmfao
production discog is profoundly silly
bro has the donald trump placement
i liked who you touch but he stole that beat from autumn

yup all the new kids running around acting like it’s lame to like music from before your time was clown s***
you can do something different and still respect what came before you
now look at the state of the industry, no new superstars, no craft in these cats albums, just fast food and the same type of music we had for the past decade. compare albums from 94 to 04 to 14 then 14 to 24.
but it’s also on old heads for s***ting on a lot of these new rappers. instead of giving them the blueprint they wrote them off. the idea of “mumble rap” did irreparable damage to how people viewed these guys.
s*** is sad to see.

You know they gonna be against whatever makes them feel like an outsider in the genre
But my thing is if the fundamentals and foundation of hip hop is that boring to them why don’t they just go off and make some whole other s*** for themselves? It’s cause they wont admit that the association to blackness and street culture and being perceived as cool by niggas is what they’re really after, the music is just the path to it smh.
without soul, funk and jazz there would be no hip hop. anyone dissing the foundation is an idiot
This is yall fault
The fact he felt no shame saying this proves the point yall be letting them get to comfortable because they like the same artists as you
Shoutout to @op giving this guy promo
Love how yall still dont get the play yet,
