Yes, she technically did. She made him kill himself. You don’t have to hold someone at gunpoint to manipulate them

I'll reiterate this: Whether or not she can be punished for pressuring him into committing suicide, she was on the phone with him as he killed himself and she fully knew what was going on. She didn't interfere, nor did she contact the authorities or his parents. She deserves to be in jail for more than 11 months.

I'm not sure what you mean. She should be in jail, she shouldn't be living a normal life.

Nah she practically lead that boy though his suicide on some Dr.Kavorkian s***.

You'll be fine but stop cause that's some d***ish thing to do

  • Lou

I think it could end up being a slippery slope jailing people for texts they sent

I understand the boyfriend was in a fragile mental state and all that but I think it sets a dangerous legal precedent

Coercing someone in that fragile of a mental state to end their life is why i think she shouldve been locked up.

Obvs it was up to him to do it in the end. But some responsibility needs to be taken by her for making a bad situation worse.

i feel like there is a difference between telling a random on the internet to kys once and being in a relationship with someone and consistently trying to coerce them to suicide. Sending constant text to stay in the garage is far more powerful that just one internet threat

"The Illinois Appeals Court has finally acknowledged the rightfulness of the deceived man. The court ruled that Sharon Irons had a sexual affair with Richard Phillips to obtain his semen. Oral s***eventually resulted in pregnancy, which is obviously impossible, and testifies to premeditated fraudulent intentions of the woman, the court said. The judge added, however, that it was not correct to accuse Irons of sperm theft. Ejaculation was a gift of the plaintiff. Furthermore, there was no agreement that the original deposit would be returned upon request," the decision said.

She definitely egged it on, but he wanted to kill himself.

The texts indicate his desire to die

She definitely could have stopped it, and her egging on didn’t help, and might have caused the thoughts to turn to real action, but he proposed the idea, and definitely wanted to.

Not justifying what she did at all, just saying it’s a very big grey area.
