As a teenager I just met girls casually at school or through friends and they flirt with me give me their number, etc.

As an agoraphobic adult women just message me first on socials and it goes from there lol

with guys like me it's very important to approach first tho lol bc I'm just way too insecure about being attracted someone/ manage to still have doubts over the clearest signs lol

with my current partner I was rly afraid to go that step past being extremely close friends. even when we arranged for me to visit her for a few days and it was becoming hilariously obvious that we were gonna have s***I was still genuinely shocked when she kissed me

In my limited experience, and based off my fading memories of my childhood and teenage years (idk why they fading I’m like 23 smh) three girls have “made moves” on me or whatever, and like, at least twenty have given me weird stares and giggled at what I said and stuff like that, which made me think they may be into me, but I never knew for sure.
Overall, based on my life experience, girls will do it sometimes, but far less often than guys and won’t go as far as guys will.
I base that last part off of the fact that as a teenager I was too chickenshit to ask a girl who had been actively flirting with me, physically touching me, claiming me on social media etc. out because I was going through some s*** and couldn’t handle the chance that she might say no (I know, why would she say no, I’m just an idiot) so I never asked her out, and despite the fact that she would hang around me when we were in the same area, and occasionally drop hints, we rarely spoke for the rest of the year. Still a huge regret. So based on that, even the most forceful girls will still want you to be the one to make the first move and ask them out.

Not trying to play “who can fumble the hardest” or anything, but believe me, it’s worse when you fumble someone you know was pursing you, and who you considered to be your first real love.
I still remember it sometimes and it instantly puts me in a bad mood the rest of the day.
