They used to be cool. When Cudi was going through his darker moments, Lupe was one of the few people in the industry to check in on him.
Later on when Lupe was bored and offering fans personalized verses, Cudi came out of nowhere and accused Lupe of taking advantage of fans (I still don't understand that take..). Lupe took it very personally and keeps saying he's waiting for an apology from Cudi
