Ps2 and ps1 already has emulators that Sony has used smart one
And PS3 is super hard to emulate reliably and basically just needs the actual hardware in the console for full compatibility with no issues
Microsoft has invested A LOT of money into backwards compatibility bc they have no current games nor do I they have nearly as big of a user base
They have to make their system as appealing as possible with a bunch of features just for people to even consider buying an Xbox instead of a PlayStation
Why does it need streaming to run those games then? If sony has emulators then why dont they use them?
I didnt mention ps3 so fair enough, i do know how hard to emulate the console is.
About your last point, that should be the norm in today's day and age, Sony and nintendo keep getting s***ted on cause they still can't put their classic games for people to play. And for almost all their old systems it does not take huge investments to bring their games to the newest consoles. Microsoft did a smart and reasonable thing so they should be applauded for that. Also despite not having many exclusives xbox still has halo which is a system seller on the level of a mario and zelda, forza and gears. They also bought Bethesda so they can get timed exclusives from them too, especially since they probably gonna invest a lot on them to release games more frequently. All this console war s*** in 2020 is stupid, all consoles offer experiences you cant get on any other system, they should all be praised for the good things they do and criticized for the bullshit they do
Halo not even better than Gears in 2020
Halo did get very bad, but I think the new Halo coming out is gonna be great
And the last GTA was 7 years ago. What’s your point? When it drops it creates waves.
Elder Scrolls Online dropped after Skyrim tho
