Wasn’t until a friend sent me the new Givenchy collection that I realized I was blocked & had my designs ripped off: blatantly moodboarded with no credit. So shocked because shein & fast fashion often take credit from independent artists,: but givenchy??

My clothes are all organically bleached and hand painted. upcycled. I love designing and styling clothes for the punk scene in Portland & to have that be ripped off in the worst way (ie screenprinted) is unethical and honestly.. sucks.

this was a couple weeks ago and Ive been on the line with the team at Givenchy and they arguing with me about cm of the design and such,,, absolutely absurd

yea fashion is 200% cyclical and inspiration based. I use the Virgil 5% rule,,, but when something is so blatantly. mood boarded or copied... at least give ma shoutout or anything,,
