I didn't live through that generation either tbh, but his influence, impact and legacy can still be felt. S***, kendrick himself would disagree with you. the same will be said for k dot, when that time arrives, but he can't ever replace pac.

I agree with what ur saying. Of course his legacy will still be felt, im just saying it wont the topic of conversation after a while esp if kendrick never fumbles.

Pac will always be a convo and a hip hop staple, but not THE convo. Kendrick will be more Important. maybe not “the king” but easily more relevant. so kendrick will just kind of “switch places” with pac, is what im saying

The album should have ended with Singin About Me. If so, it would be even better
Not to say Real & Compton are bad songs, but SAM arguably the best Kendrick song ever

Why would you wanna end the album with such a sad song

Ending it in a positive/celebratory note was more fitting

Real is also a very important and essential song, it draws all the conclusions from the storyline. Deepest song on the album

Its definitely the Kendrick album that gets played the most. Yesterday i had a long drive and the only two Kenny songs that got played on the radio were from GKMC

oh ok. i get you now. kendrick is currently in that convo and he hasn't even dropped an album in like 4 years. i just wish the man was more prolific but i know whatever he has us waiting for is definitely worth it.

Dude is slowly turning into his mentor Dr. Dre

Timid ass presence and never drops the album and will only perform songs from the same 2-3 albums for the rest of his life

I respect that he takes his sweet time (just like dre, frank, sza, etc.) to deliver quality work, but there are so many artists out there releasing quality material without the long waits in between. maybe not of the same quality but not far from it. i know he thinks he's almighty and s***, but it might eventually bite him in the ass if he keeps this s*** up.

2012-2014 actually and just a few examples off Google search to show that KTT were running a meme about GKMC "lacking replay value" but ended up in the wrong side of history. You missed the point, "sir".

At the end of the day he can do what he wants but I just got bored of the nothingness and as a result he's lost my interest as a fan.. I'd rather follow an artist who is vocal on social media, does interviews and actively drops albums. Kendrick is a Pac stan so we know he'd agree with me about himself.

They only matter when the music is dope to back up the success

No one cares if Mid Malone goes ultra triple platinum with his radio bait music but when a rap legend like Kendrick does we're here for it

    what a horrible argument

I love Kendrick but I'm not waiting like that. Whenever he drops I'll check it out but there's too much new music out right now to be worrying about him. The same can be said for Frank Ocean too. Time doesn't stop for either of them.

Yeah, those mystery tricks worked on me a decade ago but now I'm experienced enough to know better. Teenage stans love it tho
