this man got beat so comprehensively that his fans are hyperfixated on any sliver of a fraction of a perceived moral victor,y niggas moving like bots
Bro gotta get his boys together to play some ball just to forget Kendrick dropped an album
There's no way to get definitive results but I've always wondered what the actual correlation between streams and number of tracks is. I highly doubt it's a full 2x tracks = 2x streams like people love to tout, but they'd obviously be positively correlated
I’ve done the numbers before and looked at lots of different albums from lots of artists. They pretty much all follow the exact same logarithmic regression model. You can make an educated guess on how many more streams an album would’ve had with more tracks.
Know nothing about numbers but looks like under 250k, physicals only count if they are ready to be shipped correct?
He released physical copies now lmaoo
They’re all preorders so none of them will count for this week. Maybe having the digital version listed among them might lead to some sale conversions though

Correct. They would need to be shipped by Thursday at midnight
no matter the number it will never change the fact that prior to his vitalyzTV style pedo bait song he sold 20 units a week with his Major Solo Album
No way Kendrick had the entire music industry, media complex, corporations, YouTubers, bloggers, and social media algorithms all working in his favor—plus Amazon live-streamed concerts, Super Bowl commercials, his songs played at presidential rallies, and getting pushed on every platform imaginable…
…just to drop an underwhelming album that’s getting less attention than other LA artists who dropped this year
that forced hype everywhere really hurt bro
😭😭😭😭😭😭
no way he doesn’t drop another album to make up for this tbh

The 12-song set is projected to generate 291k in activity, including 325m on-demand audio streams. This gives Lamar an average of 27m streams per song—10m more per track than his previous release, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. The latter also racked up 325m streams in its first week, but with 19 tracks, its average was 17m per song.
Not good numbers for the hype
Anyone thinking these are not good numbers does not understand how sales work

What sales ? most of the numbers will be based off unverifiable streaming data.
With the hype youd think hed do more.

They’re still “sales”, they are streaming equivalent units
