Whoever is hating on a man going to Starbucks hasn’t had an incredible caffeine high

I used to be a barista there, so here’s what you need to order.

First off, always say venti, grande, or tall. Don’t go up there saying “small medium or large”

Always say the espresso shots as single, double, triple, or quad. NEVER “1,2,3,4 shots”

1. If you really tryna impress a b****, get an Undertow with 4 shots in it. Say it like this “quad shot undertow with vanilla syrup & half n half.”

What you’ll get is half & half on the bottom, with vanilla syrup then 4 shots on top. It’ll be better as hell at first, but you’ll be so caffeinated you won’t give a f***. Then, at the end, you’ll be rewarded with cold half n half & vanilla syrup

For reference, all Grande & Vente coffee sizes come with 2 shots of espresso only. The rest is filled with milk. The tall size only comes with one shot. So if you get 4 shots in your undertow, your ass will by FLYIN.

2. Get either the sweetened green tea, or sweetened passion tea. Those two teas are so f***ing good. You can get them with lemonade in them too, just say “venti passion tea w/ sweetener & lemonade or green tea w/sweetener & lemonade”

Trust me they go off

3. If you want a holiday drink, get a Peppermint Mocha & those are phenomenal. I can guarantee your girl will like it too.

4. If you’re not a caffeine type person, get a caramel Apple Spice. They have no espresso shots in them, and it’s steamed apple juice with cinnamon syrup. It goes TF off.

5. If you want just a basic drink, get a caramel machiatto iced or hot. That has vanilla syrup & milk on the bottom, and the espresso shots on top. A venti size comes with 3 espresso shots.

6. If you want a dope icey type coffee, get a Java Chip Frappuccino. That has coffee syrup in it (which has caffeine), chocolate chips, and mocha syrup in it. S*** pops off & it’s basically iced coffee out of a blender.

Normally: Mocha w/ 2 pumps peppermint syrup

Fall: Pumpkin Spice Latte, only 2 pumps pumpkin spice syrup (instead of 4), no whipped cream

Winter/Holidays: Peppermint Mocha, only 2 pumps peppermint syrup (instead of 4), no whipped cream

Honestly you shouldn’t be afraid to talk to the baristas fam, just as long as you follow the two simple rules about drinks sizes (venti, grande, y’all) and espresso shots (single, double, triple, quad), you’re golden!

And great question about the adding espresso shots through the app. Once you select the drink you want, click the option that says “Espresso & Shot Options,” then you’ll see a label that says “Standard Recipe,” and under that you change the number of espresso shots you get
