they each have their uses, it need not be a competition for the best of the best, each are the best at what they bring to their respective dishes
Basmati is definitely not the best. But it’s the most important for when a dish requires it.
Long grain is prob the best followed closely by jasmine.
Basmati is definitely needed for anything using a lot of spices or
Curry sauce.
Using it outside of what it’s best suited for is kinda “meh”
