get outta here with that BS
i know you’re trollin but let’s break it down
1. if you weren’t alive when they were popping then don’t speak on em YOUNGIN. positive thread only
2. the fact you bring up boyz 2 etc when talking about BSB makes no sense btw.
BSB were a bubblegum boy band pop group not r&b.
3. Boyz 2 men, etc had respect back in the day, this group did not because of all their kids bop type songs (point of the thread). BSB had some R&B-esque songs like the one in OP, but that wasn’t their whole catalog
4. i can make two inferences based on your post and i bet i’m right:
both of those two inferences mean you don’t know enough about this topic/time period to make informed decisions, sorry
Didn't read, but I know you're wrong.

jus cause they were marketed as pop bands does not in the slightest mean they didnt take and or sound rnb you can clearly hear the influence of hip hop and rnb in pretty much every one of these posts and im not gon ignore that just cause they labels were pop
i think this is one of the most obvious displays of taking one thing and blowing it up to extreme proportions thanks to the ressources available and the marketability, its not genuine and these bands did not create long lasting timeless music neither did they ever try to, celebrating them now makes no sense to me
and idgaf if i was born yesterday on the planet of your anus, this s*** is straight garbage
Didn't read, but I know you're wrong.
this
is just simple not appropriation of this. ktt race baiting arguments will not work in this thread

The Boyz2Men is the only timeless song in this thread though.
and you just proved my point from my other post lmao
they literally took hip hop sounds, told some white boys to sing n dance along to it and made that s*** pop. thats prime example of appropriating if u ask me

you do know that pop is a genre right?
you do know those particular sounds aren’t hip hop but from roland drum kits that were used throughout the 80s and 90s in all songs right?
this is why i brought up age lol. context matters
those aren’t “hip hop” sounds. they are from various samplers / keyboards that producers of all genres used

that does not negate the fact that s*** sounds like hip hop fam, thats not at all a sound those people came up with or originated
and pop is not really a genre when u wanna look at it, it mean popular music and is just labeling the s*** thats upbeat n the most mainstream really
