Imagine not being open to feeling deep emotions
Keeping it a peso, Selah is a classic, right alongside God Is. The hotter take is that Follow God is dramatically overrated. Plays a key role in the album, has a great sample and is classic chop, but it's nothing we haven't heard/felt before.
The Hallelujahs In Selah literally gives me chills every time
whole album some mid aside from the production on a few tracks

808s exists and is actually good
This is my eternal soul
This my kids, this the crib
This my wife, this my life
This my God-given right
Thank You, Jesus, won the fight
That's what God is
God Is IS really that good.
To me God Is is equivalent to Ghost Town/ Only One/ Runaway....
This my kids!
This the crib
This my wife
This my life
THIS MY GOD GIVEN RIGHT
THANK YOU JESUS WON THE FIGHT!!
Mike Dean should never work on a ye album ever again
Who else is gonna add bass lines
808s exists and is actually good
Who said anything about 808s NOT being an emotional classic
This thread is about God Is being a appropriately rated / emotionally charged track.
Haven’t even listened to this album since the day it came out, chick fil a track was great though

I just did goofy. 808s is actually good, God Is is weak as f***
I can respect the lyrics and passion in the song but it’s one of my least favorite tracks on the album.
Those scratchy vocals before they updated it are goat
wait , just listened to it now , it went back to the old version on my Apple Music for some reason "this is my eternal soul" raspy again
