He literally cut so much out of Yeezus and wanted to cut even more that we actually ended up with & he also convinced Kanye not to release Yeezus 2 EP which songs like God Level & I Am Not Here etc. was gonna be on
Its the reason why Yeezus has the most leaks n unreleased besides Pablo (which went thru like 3 different album cycles before it became TLOP)
Lot of songs were cut due to Rubin;s influence, then the few Kanye was really attached to he was gonna finish fror the EP, but then Rubin persuaded him again. Then Kanye was took like a handful from EP for SHMG but that project as a whole got scrapped
God Level & IAANH was literally supoose to be on OG Yeezus too, n why IAANH is used in YEezus concerts & God Level was already being licensed for commercials n movies

i thot it popped up in the commercial in 2014 but it was known of before the commercial n the commercial is an extended bit from the og leak that ktt1 went wild for because it was only like 20 secs prior of the rolling drums n few mentions of god level
on genius it says it was meant for yeezus 2 ep so the earlier leak was probably assumed for yeezus is where my conjecture comes from

I get that these songs didn’t make the album but the album reduction literally made the album perfect and a classic otherwise it would be too messy and the message would not be as clear

Kanye also can do whatever he wants with extra tracks, just position them as a tape or whatever instead of trying to fit them into an album roll out
